What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They make the site work, remember preferences, and (with your consent) measure usage.
This site also uses similar technologies — localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel tags — collectively referred to as "cookies and similar technologies" below.

One choice covers alethe.eu and app.alethe.eu. Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel run on the marketing site alethe.eu only; PostHog runs on alethe.eu and on app.alethe.eu (the platform); each runs strictly after opt-in consent in its category. On app.alethe.eu, PostHog runs only after your Analytics consent and never on the booking, form, quote, invoice or client-space pages, and a signed-in user is identified by an internal account number, not by name or e-mail. app.alethe.eu sets no marketing trackers.

How to manage your consent
- First visit: the cookie banner lets you accept all, reject all, or customise per-category.
- Anytime after: click the persistent "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer — it is available on every page — to change your choices. On app.alethe.eu, "Cookie preferences" is in the account menu and at the foot of the sign-in screens.
- One choice for both sites: a choice made or changed on alethe.eu or app.alethe.eu applies to both; an open page of the other site picks it up when you return to it.
- Browser controls: all major browsers let you block or delete cookies in settings.
- Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it — single click on the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
If you reject non-essential cookies, Alethe still works fully — only analytics and UI-preference persistence are affected.
Subprocessors and third-party cookies
Cookies set by third-party services are processed under those services' own privacy policies. Currently used:

How our banner works
Our consent banner follows these rules:
- Accept-all and Reject-all buttons are equal size, weight, and prominence.
- Both are single click.
- No pre-ticked boxes for non-essential categories.
- "Customise" opens granular per-category toggles, each OFF by default.
- The strictly-necessary toggle is ON and disabled with a note.
- A persistent "Cookie preferences" link in the footer lets you withdraw consent in one click.
- The choice is stored once for alethe.eu and app.alethe.eu, and a withdrawal on either site stops tracking on both.
Changes
Material changes to this policy or to the cookies we use trigger a fresh consent prompt and an updated "Last updated" date above.
